Proverbs 10:1
A wise son makes a father glad, but a foolish son is a grief to his mother.

All sons want their fathers to be proud
they hunger for their praise spoken aloud
by the man whom they want to be glad
a wise son makes a pleased dad

All fathers want their sons to be wise
they yearn for knowledge in their eyes
they desire holiness in every part
and the love of God deep in their heart

All sons want their mothers to be proud
they hunger for their praise spoken aloud
by the one they regard as no other
a wise son makes a pleased mother

All mothers want their sons to be wise
